Hi. My name is Lydia, and I'm just wrapping up a stint of doing some RPG-writing, primarily for
Exalted 2
. A friend directed me to this blog and I'm wondering what's up with the project -- you don't seem to have updated for a while. I love
Exalted
-- and I remember that it didn't initially drag me in, but I decided that I wanted to see where it was going after I read over the influences listed in the introduction. I really ended up falling in love with it. I'm curious to see if
Eumenides
is the same way. My initial reaction is mixed, but I'm really interested to see where it's going, especially since a few of its cited influences are almost as awesome as the Flat Earth series.
(I'm not looking for a job, by the way -- I'm just curious.)

Hi Lydia! Don't worry, we don't have anything to give you so we're fine with you either way. =)
Currently, we are tying things up with the project. Between the illustrator and I, we have had a very full year, unrelated to this. We will probably be ready for release in late Q2 or early Q3 -- we have some playtesting and document design to do and then it is pretty much over.
It is possible you are not gonna like it. It was certainly written without too much concern for anyone's approval. However, some people seem to like it a lot.
It is primarily going to appeal to people who are fans of Mordheim type minis games or Atlus-type Japanese SRPGs. Also, people who like the Kult / Whispering Vault genre will probably be willing to read the setting document couched as an arcane rules set even if they never intend to play it because that's kind of in the genre of the piece.
You are welcome to read it, it's pretty much done, we have just had too much going on to get through a playtesting run. My marketing assumption is, if you are into the genre, you'll gladly give me the money for taking the effort of writing it, even after you read it. Email me at raindog@raindog.org with some recognizable subject line if you want a copy.
